We don’t get these very often! Original, better than average condition driver 1980 Mercedes-Benz 450SL roadster, just over 80,000 original miles. The white paint on this car is original, it also has its original blue leather interior. the soft top is in good condition. The detachable hard top is not currently with the car, but I believe it is on it’s way to the dealership from the previous owner’s garage.
1980 was a good year for the Mercedes-Benz 450SL, it’s a fuel injected car, the late 70s and 1980 models are generally thought to be the most fully developed of that era 107 chassis cars.
This one has just over 80,000 original miles on its odometer, I inspected it pretty closely and found no rust underneath anywhere. It looks to have been driven seasonally in Minnesota, no evidence of Winter driving. If I had the room in my garage I would put this one in it… but alas, I can only have one fun car at a time, so this will wait for some lucky person to come along. There are still a couple of good months for this car with the top down this season.
