Rare Verde Brook Green Color! ML320 CDI Diesel Premium 3 Package Lighting Package Multi Contour Seating

Mercedes Verde Brook Green Color

This is, without a doubt, the most fully loaded 2007 ML SUV I’ve ever seen. The rare Verde Brook Green with Macadamia leather is a great combination. Verde Brook almost looks black, but in the bright sun it’s a very dark green color. This is a local, one owner vehicle with just over 55,000 original miles. It is the ML320 CDI diesel model which means huge gas mileage numbers in the city and on the highway, even when towing… considerably better than a comparable gasoline engine. See specifics regarding Mercedes diesel gas mileage by visiting this article I wrote about ML diesels.

I have included a copy of the original option list / equipment on this ML so you can see how heavily equipped it really is. The Premium 3 Package isn’t even offered anymore, but it included just about everything for 2007: Navigation, harmon/kardon sound, rear view camera, 3 zone climate control, even air suspension and the Mercedes-Benz Adaptive Dampening System (ADS). Full leather seating package (almost 90% of ML SUVs get MB tex), heated seats, the lighting package, Multicontour front seats (extremely rare on any ML, even today).

This was a one owner trade in here at Sears Imports, it’s got a clean Carfax vehicle history report. It’s been fully serviced and is ready to roll. Sears Imports Stock# 65388A, available today for $33,900. Original window sticker below:

After One Week at Sears I Ask Myself “What do I do with all of these cool cars?” Answer: Create a New Category on Dave Knows Cars Blog… the ‘Precious Metals Report’

Sears Imports Used Cars

“Sensory Overload” might be a good description of my first week at Sears Imported Autos Mercedes-Benz in Minnetonka. I’m getting to know a new group of people, learning a new set of operational processes and digging into a much larger vehicle inventory than I’m used to dealing with, almost 300 vehicles total, over 200 of which are used cars, and I’m talking, used cars of all types spanning almost 80 years of automotive history, AWESOME!

We’ve got everything from a 1931 Ford Huckster truck to a very rare and valuable 1935 Mercedes-Benz 500K, a 1948 Cadillac Convertible, a 1964 Mercedes-Benz 220SE coupe to the more modern cars like the mid 1980s Porsche 928 I featured on the blog recently, to an SL500 from 2000 and a bunch of Certified Pre Owned Mercedes-Benz vehicles, a handful of Jaguars, Lexus (Lexi?), an awesome 2010 Cadillac CTS-V 6 speed, we even have a Bentley and Rolls Royce at the moment. It’s hard to describe or mention them all.

In order to present this great mix of vehicles to Dave Knows Cars blog readers I decided to create a new blog category entitled the “Precious Metals Report”. That was actually one of the names I was kicking around for my blog when the idea for Dave Knows Cars was just that, an idea. This new category will be prominently featured on the front page of the blog, I hope to add something new and interesting vehilces a couple of times a week. You can always click on the category title to see all of the past entries in that category, as you can with any category title on the front page of the blog.

If you see something you like, you’re curious about or interested in, don’t hesitate to pick up the phone and give me a call or drop me an email. Please, give me an excuse to go on a test drive in a 1968 427 Corvette Convertible or a ‘Young Classic’ 1978 Mercedes Benz 450SL.

Dave Knows Cars Blog Gets New Home After Dave Tobin Accepts Internet Sales Position at Sears Imports Mercedes Benz In Minnetonka, MN

It’s official! As of Monday, July 25, 2011 I work as an Internet Sales Manager for Sears Imports Mercedes-Benz in Minnetonka, MN. Sears contacted me regarding a position they believed I might be a good fit for recently and after several meetings and some serious thought, I decided to accept the job. I work out of Sears Imports Mercedes-Benz showroom on Wayzata Blvd. in Minnetonka, the North frontage road of I394 just west of downtown Minneapolis.

I leave Feldmann Imports Mercedes-Benz in Bloomington on the best of terms after more than three years. I enjoyed my time at Feldmann’s. I learned a lot and will always be grateful to the Feldmann family and to their entire organization for hiring me when I had no automotive industry experience and bringing me up through their ranks. Feldmann Imports is a quality organization full of good people.

An opportunity presented itself to me at Sears and I know I would have looked back in ten years and said “What if…?” if I didn’t accept the job and jump in with both feet. Of course, I’ll miss my friends at Feldmanns, but I hope to make some new friends at Sears.

I’m looking forward to getting started tomorrow morning (as I’m writing this Sunday night, tomorrow is my first day). I will be handling internet sales, interacting with customers as I have been for the, past few years via the internet, email, and phone. The difference with my position at Sears Imports is that once a customer is ready to come in, they come in to see me. I don’t make an appointment for someone else, I don’t hand the customer off. You talk to me via email or on the phone, you come in to see me, we look at the car, I answer your questions, I handle the entire transaction.

It’s a different method, but I’m looking forward to giving this new process a try, getting back in front of the customers I get to know via email and on the phone, and watching them drive off into the sunset in their new (or new to them) car with my business card in the glove box.

I drove over to scope out my new digs Sunday evening, there were lots of people walking around the lot looking at cars.
