  2. I was wondering if you could explain the different rear bumpers available for C300. I want to replace one on a sport model and the two estimates are very different, they say because they have chosen different bumpers. I can’t tell the difference or why one is worth so much more.

  3. Hi I’m just wondering what the difference is between the merc c220 bluetec sport and the premium and premium plus package? Thanks

  4. I recently acquired a 1985 500SL Mercedes convertible hardtop. The paperwork I have shows it was shipped over over seas new and the Mercedes dealer told us it is a rare car. We had to order keys for it and they had to be special ordered (gray). It has 177,000 miles and the interior is in poor condition. I’m going to sell it and am curious of it’s value.

  5. Oh how I love the 1973 mercedes caledonia green . is it still for sale . I’m in Calif , but could make a trip to Detroit . visit family & drive it back here

  6. I have a 1975 240d and trying to see if it is the one owner car I purchased. I have the owners manual and steel plate with the owners name on it. Can a second buyer get a replacement plate?

  7. selling my 1979 6.9 engine tries to start runs and shuts off cant afford to keep it will sell for 1500.oo if you know any one who like to restore or need s parts

  8. Dave, I have a 2008 C300 with manual steering adjustment, the steering wheel will not lock into place which is a problem because the wheel will move up, down and in and out while driving.any ideas for a fix

  9. I have a 2006 Honda S2000 with 44,000 miles. I’m the second owner (bought it in 2008 with 7,000 miles) and it is in excellent condition. I have always said that I would never sell this car (many potential buyers have tried), but truthfully it is getting harder and harder to get in and out of as I reach my early 70s. It is, after all, practically a club racer. I’m considering selling and buying a 2006-2008 Mercedes SL500 or SL550. More prestigious, more comfortable, and an all-round better car. All of my friends, and my mechanic, advise against it. The Honda is bulletproof and the Mercedes is vastly more expensive to maintain, they argue. Besides, the Honda has retained more than half it’s value over 10+ years. This car would be my “second car” and driven on special occasions for fewer than 5,000 miles annually. Thoughts? Thanks!

  10. Hello Dave,

I’d like to retrofit heated seats in my 2012 C250 Coupe.
Is there a company that would sell the parts using the OEM wiring-harness and the OEM Switches? Non OEM heating pads so I don’t have to replace the leather seat covers?

I found a UK company, but they will not ship to the US market.

  11. Hi,

I was trying to locate the 1973 Mercedes for sale in Anoka MN
    Very interested in purchasing.
    Thank you

  12. Hello Dave
I am considering purchasing a roughly 100k 2009 or so, ML 320 v6 blutec turbo diesel for towing a travel trailer. What are you thoughts on the Blutec engines and are they better than the previous years diesel engines? Also what is the difference between the 320 and 350 ? Are the repair costs as prohibitive as I hear?

  13. Hi Dave,
    I recently purchased a new 2016 C300 from a MB dealer.
    I really like the vehicle.
I noticed that the ” C300 ” badge is not on the trunk. I pointed out the missing badge to the sales person. They were going to replace the Badge but I told them that I preferred to leave the badge off, however is this a common occurrence for the C 300’s?
