Hi Marcia,

It depends what car you’re looking at. “Parking Guidance” is an option that is always bundled with PARKTRONIC, as the “Parking Guidance” system uses the PARKTRONIC sensors.

On an S class sedan PARKTRONIC with ‘Parking Guidance’ is a part of the P2 Package.
In an E class (sedan or coupe) PARKTRONIC with ‘Parking Guidance’ is a stand alone option (Individual Option Code: 230).

Is the “parking assist” an extra option not included in either p1 or p2, and do you think it is a valuable asset for someone who has difficulty parking? Also, are the “fancy wheels” included in both packages?

I love the Mercedes cab company. This car reminds me of when I was young, I think my dad or uncle had one. If I was to try and buy one now, what sort of price would I be looking at? And would I have to take out some sort of Specialist car insurance to cover it? Sorry about the 101 questions. I think I am getting far too excited.

A good question Pepe. I’m not sure where to get specific AMG sales numbers. They must keep track of them somewhere… I’ll take a look and see what I can find. The short answer about your S65 question though is ‘not many’. I’ll see if I can find a more accurate number for you. I would guess somewhere in the neighborhood of 30 – 50 in the U.S. I’ll seeif I can find an exact number.

Hi Dave,

You and I corresponded some last summer and I enjoyed speaking with you. I just looked at the blog and noticed your career move. I hope it is working well for you. We still have our Audi A4 and Passat wagon, and they are running well.

Those two MB’s, the 500E and the Cosworth are very cool. Good luck with them.

Thank you for breaking down the difference between the c300 luxury and sports model. Are these differences pretty much the same for the c250 luxury and sports models too? Is the only difference between the 300s and 250s the size of the engine? Is the ride quality of the 250 the same as the 300? Do you think AWD is necessary for someone living in Indianapolis?
