This 1977 Mercedes-Benz 450 SEL 6.9 liter just went up on eBay last night along with the 6.3 I mentioned in the earlier post (see the eBay auction for this vehicle currently underway by clicking this link) This is the finest example of a 6.9 liter Mercedes sedan that I’ve ever seen. It’s got just over 53,000 original miles on the odometer, the inside is as pristine as you will find, it literally looks like it rolled off the show room floor yesterday.

Silver with blue interior, it’s equipped with all the luxury S class options you could get in 1977. It runs perfectly and has more power than you’d know what to do with, perhaps the ultimate 20th century autobahn cruiser…. I mean, a 6.9 liter V8… really?
