Mercedes Benz Club Twin Cities Section Newsletter Available for Download on Web

The Fall quarter newsletter of the Mercedes-Benz Club of America’s Twin Cities Section, “The Northern Star” was just posted to the club’s website. Visit the Twin Cities Section of the MBCA by clicking this link. You can download the whole issue for free, if you’re a member you should have received your copy in the mail by now.

This quarter’s newsletter has articles about some of the events that were put on by the club over the Summer. The successful “Vino in the Valley Rally” held in Wisconsin was a fun one. A small club gathering during the New London to New Brighton Antique Car Run was also well attended, always a favorite event of the club membership, even if it isn’t real heavy on Mercedes-Benz vehicles. The last Event report is about an event that two Twin Cities Mercedes-Benz Club members participated in (I was one of them), a road rally with some very cool, and some very valuable (I’m talking millions of dollars, no joke) old vintage cars participated in the “Kettle Call Rally” in Elkhart Lake, WI. There is a good “Tech Files” article written by John Elliott, club member and great techincal / mechanical resource.

It takes a crew of people to put this newsletter together, to organize the events, and to actually pull them off successfully. We’ve all been having fun in the club recently. We hope to see you at an event soon… and don’t forget… the $1,500 gift card Mercedes-Benz gives you if you’re a Mercedes-Benz Club member and you buy a new Mercedes-Benz vehicle from a franchised dealer… that’s right, a $1,500 gift card good towards service or merchandise in any Mercedes-Benz dealership in the United States.. no catch! Club membership is only $45 a year, it’s well worth it.

If you’re interested in joining or just have questions about the club, don’t hesitate to drop me a line. It’s a fun, non pretensious group of people who just like having fun with their Mercedes-Benz’s… old or new, tralier queens, daily drivers or half finished projects… it doesn’t matter.
