1988 Mercedes-Benz 560 SL Roadster complete with soft top and detachable hard top. Traded in yesterday on a new 2011 E class. It’s got just a little over 63,000 miles on its odometer. Color is Dark Navy Blue with tan leather interior. This has been a well maintained car all its life, serviced regularly, and driven on warm sunny Minnesota days, no winters! This is an original car in excellent condition. The timing of this trade in is uncanny… given the article I wrote yesterday about the Mercedes-Benz “Young Classics” program and the new retail facility they opened at the Classic Center in Stuttgart catering to vehicles like this one. This is a really nice example in a good, understated color combination that will provide many years of happy motoring to its new owner.
