Do you want a car that you don’t really get into, rather, a car you put on like a fine suit? This is a 2008 SLK 280 Edition 10, one of just 700 made worldwide. The Edition 10 was a special edition SLK to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the introduction of the Mercedes-Benz SLK Roadster, the first retractable hard top roadster of modern times. This car is black with the special Edition 10 17″ “Chrome Shadow” 10 spoke wheels, they’re a cool matte dark grey color.

All of the Edition 10 SLKs came standard with the Airscarf option, so this one’s obviously got that. It’s also got special edition tinted tail lights, leather seats, a truly unique and imposing SLK. This is the first, and only one of these Edition 10 SLK roadsters I’ve ever seen. It was traded in this afternoon for a C300 sedan. Incredibly, this car only has 6,100 miles on it! I don’t even know what the price is going to be yet, but I’ll guess mid thirties.

If you’ve been holding out for the right SLK, this must be the car… after all… it’s almost Spring!
