Twin Cities Section Mercedes-Benz Club Launches New Website
The Mercedes-Benz Club of America’s local Twin Cities Section launched a new club website this month that takes advantage of powerful web based community interaction tools to create an innovative website that should serve the club and its members well.

Twin Cities Section board member and AMG aficionado, John Marquardt, headed up this effort to create a new club website which allows more social interaction among club members than more traditional, more static websites.
Club members can create individual accounts on the new website and administer their own Mercedes-Benz related blogs if they’d like, create groups within the online club community where enthusiasts of a particular Mercedes-Benz model might discuss things specific to that model. Updates to the site are immediate, when a member writes something and submits it, it posts to the site.
It’s an excellent format in which to create a conversation among members and general visitors to the site. This new format should make it easier to communicate event information to members, plan club activities and get more members actively involved in the club.
If you’ve been a Mercedes-Benz Club member who has joined over the years just to receive a subscription of the national club magazine “The Star” it would be a good time to have a look at the new Twin Cities Section website, to get reacquainted with the club’s activities, members, and the technical expertise so many of our members have to offer regarding your specific Mercedes-Benz model. It’s never been easier.
